Ceilidh Trail

As you cross the causeway into Port Hastings, the Ceilidh Trail travels up Rte #19 northward along the western coast, joining the Cabot Trail near Margaree Harbour.

Attractions are plentiful along this coast and include: the Balache Point Lighthouse and the Swingbridge at the causeway; and the Gut of Canso Museum and Archives at Port Hastings; the Cape Breton Celtic Music Interpretive Centre at Judique; the beaches at Port Hood; the An Drochaid (The Bridge) and Mother of Sorrows Pioneer Shrine at Mabou; the Glenora Distillery at Glenville; the dunes at Inverness and the 2 lighthouses and busy wharf at Margaree Harbour.
